I was referred to Kathleen and Raleigh Coaching Academy about a year and a half ago by a woman in our organization who was being coached by Kathleen. My partner (in business and life) and I own and run several businesses.
I pursued coaching because I had some really hard heavy things weighing me down both personally and professionally (a divorce, loss of old friendships, navigating a new relationship, and new work/family/friend dynamics all inspired by my post-divorce life…like I said, heavy). Through Kathleen’s careful guidance, thoughtful observations, strategic recommendations and a deep and authentic commitment to caring greatly, I was not only able to overcome the things weighing me down but I was able to see myself in an entirely new way. Professionally, over the course of my year and a half being coached by Kathleen, our companies have also gone through massive changes. The money we’ve spent on coaching for ourselves and on leaders within our organization is undoubtedly the best money we’ve ever spent. Through coaching we were all able to navigate the most difficult conversations with intention and resolve. It wasn’t easy, but coaching taught us how to be mentally and spiritually prepared to manage the transitions successfully.
